FINLAY London has opened its first ever concept store in Soho London, based on 61 Broadwick Street, just off Carnaby Street.
Spanning 650 square feet, the new corner site concept store on Broadwick Street consists of both FINLAY London’s best-selling sunglasses and spectacles, in addition to a curated edit of 14 other independent eyewear brands including:
Grey Ant, Projekt Produkt, lool, Kaleos, Portrait, Salt, Wires, Preciosa, ic! Berlin, Wires, Cutler & Gross, Prism, Izipizi, and Illesteva. We also stock eyewear accessories from Frame Chain and ANY Di.
In store we are also offering eye tests for both spectacles and contact lenses with our GOC qualified optometrists. Tests are free until the end of August (normally £30) for our summer promotion. You can book your eye test, here.
We're excited to be in our first bricks and mortar store, just off the infamous shopping destination Carnaby Street, which is where we held our very first pop up shop years ago.
Our aim is to to revolutionise the optical industry. Where the high street is full of uninspiring stores, selling generic frames; we want to create the ultimate destination for independent eyewear, with a truly personalised experience and one of the most exciting collections of frames in London.
The store design has been inspired by Soho’s history as a place where creatives gather; from tailors and weavers to artists. Where tailors have traditionally used Cellulose Acetate to permanently hold fabric pleats in place, FINLAY London uses beautiful pleats, made from wood and brass, to hold its frames in place. Most of which are crafted from acetate in the foothills of Northern Italy.
